My Story
Hi, Im Gizmo... and wow, do I have a comeback story to tell. Not too long ago, I was wandering around all alone, looking pretty rough. Im a distinguished gentleman of about 1012 years old, and lets just say life hadnt exactly been rolling out the red carpet for me. My eye was crusted shut with pus, I had no teeth left to my name, and I was feeling pretty crummy. But guess what? Im on the mend now, and underneath all that roughness was the sweetest little soul just waiting to shine.
These days, I specialize in the finer things in life: soft beds, warm laps, gentle snuggles, and reminding humans that older dogs still have so much love to give. Since I dont have any teeth, Im a soft-food connoisseur (honestly, crunchy kibble sounds overrated anyway). Everyone here says Im the sweetest, snuggliest little fella around and Im not one to argue. I adore kids, get along wonderfully with other dogs, and even cats dont bother me one bit. Im just a mellow, loving guy looking for kindness, comfort, and someone to call my own.
I may have arrived in heartbreaking condition, but Im proof that with a little love, old souls can sparkle again. So... got room in your heart (and maybe your couch) for a tiny senior shadow who promises endless cuddles and grateful little snores?
Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our dogs such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they couch potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue!
