Happy 8 month old Pit/Mastiff Spayed Female This sweet girl had a broken jaw as a 4 month old puppy. Due to her age, she was not eligible for surgery until 6 months old, and with careful monitoring and guidance, the jaw healed exceptionally well! Our vet let us know that he does not recommend surgery, since she doesn't experience any pain, and has a typical range of motion! Those 2 months of being extra careful paid off! Happy is, as you'd expect with a name like her's, a very joyful pup. She doesn't know she's on the larger side, and is just happy to be here (: Other dogs of all sizes are friend-shaped to her, and even cats are ok! Children in her forever home would be fantastic. This girl is gentle, playful, and a little too smart for her own good. She absolutely has figured out she can counter surf for snacks, but is doing well with crating. Her family will just have to continue to work on her, or put up a gate in their kitchen if they have anything on counter tops they love. Bed hog, blanket thief, and pillow drooler are all things that accurately depict Happy's sleep routine. She does prefer to crawl in bed with you for a snuggle, but will also accept a comfy bed on the floor if that's an option. She mastered potty training very quickly, and taught herself to sit for treats very early on!
