My Story

Leap arrived in rescue with his sister Gem and brothers Ruff and Tuxedo, bringing five pounds of fluff, optimism, and absolutely no awareness of his own size. At just 12 weeks old, this sweet Maltipoo puppy approaches every day like it's the grand opening of the greatest amusement park ever created. His name is Leap, and he has chosen to interpret that as both a suggestion and a lifestyle. Leap believes couches are mountains to be conquered, toys are treasures to be discovered, and laps are destinations that should be reached as quickly as possible. He tackles life with enthusiasm that is significantly larger than his tiny body. Like his siblings, Leap is social, affectionate, and convinced that making friends is a full-time job. New people? Fantastic. New dogs? Wonderful. New experiences? Count him in. He greets the world with a wagging tail and the confidence of someone who has never once considered the possibility that things might not go his way. Of course, Leap is still very much a puppy, which means he's currently collecting life lessons at an impressive rate. He's learning about manners, routines, and why humans keep interrupting his important puppy projects with phrases like "leave it" and "not in your mouth." Fortunately, he's eager to learn and comes equipped with an endless supply of charm. His future family should also be prepared for a lifetime commitment to grooming. That gorgeous fluffy coat doesn't stay adorable all by itself. Leap fully intends to maintain his status as a tiny walking stuffed animal and expects professional support in achieving that goal. Leap is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and negative for heartworm and tick disease on his 4DX test. Healthy, happy, and ready for his next adventure, he is looking for a family willing to guide him through puppyhood and cheer him on every step of the way. If you've been waiting for a little dog who approaches life with joy, curiosity, and the unwavering belief that every day is worth getting excited about, Leap is ready to take the jump straight into your heart.
