Meet Lila - the little dog with the great big heart! This adorable 3-year-old Poodle/Maltese mix (affectionately known as a Maltipoo) is an 8.6 lb bundle of pure joy, and she is ready to find her forever family. Lila is one of those rare dogs who makes everything easy. She walks beautifully on a leash - and yes, she has the most adorable little prance that will make you smile every single time. She is genuinely sweet and affectionate, the kind of dog who just wants to be near you and loves you right back. Car rides? She's all in. Kids? She's wonderful with them. Easygoing and adaptable, Lila fits right into the flow of everyday life. As a Poodle/Maltese mix, Lila is non-shedding - great news for allergy sufferers! She will need a professional groom every 6-8 weeks to keep her coat looking its best. With some patience and consistency, housetraining should come along nicely too. Lila came to us as a stray, and while we don't know her full story, one thing is crystal clear: she deserves to be someone's whole world. Whoever adopts this girl is getting an absolute gem. Adoption Fee: $450 This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue.
