Lily

Hi my name is Lily! I'm a mature lady looking to move up in the world. Life hasn't always been kind to me, but I try not to let it get me down. I am a typical shepherd in that I LOVE my people. I'm also friendly when out and about meeting new people. However, if you show up at MY house uninvited and unexpected... well, I might not be quite so friendly. That said, on any given day I spend my time laying around, splashing in kiddie pools or any water I can find, eating snacks, and just enjoying life. I am house trained, have lived with small dogs in the past, kids, and cats. In typical shepherd fashion I will chase cats given the opportunity, so I'm not sure if living with them again would be the best idea. The shelter staff haven't seen me in action around them. Like most dogs who have some life behind them, I have some arthritis in my hips, I have been treated for a skin infection and am doing much better, and I have lost and damaged some of my incisors at some point. I am an "as is" dog looking for a loving home to be spoiled in. The staff here all agree that I deserve it! If you are a German Shepherd lover, you will adore me. I am a wonderful embodiment of the breed. My adoption fee includes vaccinations, a microchip, and I am spayed/ neutered.
