My Story

Loretta is a sweet, loving girl who is ready to find a family of her very own. She has a playful spirit and enjoys all the fun things in life-car rides, toys, and walks are some of her favorite activities! According to her previous owners, Loretta does well with people of all ages and has done well with most dogs and cats she has met. As always, we recommend a meet and greet with any resident dogs to ensure a good fit for everyone. Loretta is the perfect combination of affectionate companion and playful adventure buddy. Whether you're heading out for a walk, taking a drive, or relaxing at home, she's happy just being by your side. Could Loretta be the missing piece your family has been looking for? The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing [email protected]. In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626. Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on "Foster Questionnaire." Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon. We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
