My Story
Luna - ID# 20354 - Kennel #312 - Arrived June 26th - Labrador Retriever Mix - Black and White - Female - Approximately 6 Months Old - 28 lbs - Estimated Adult Weight 50-65 lbs - Spayed - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative
Luna is an approximately six-month-old black and white Labrador Retriever mix with warm brown eyes, floppy ears, oversized puppy paws, and the kind of sweet, earnest expression that makes young dogs so completely irresistible. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 26th when her owner's landlord objected to her barking - and here is what makes that so remarkable - she does not bark in the shelter. Not once. This good, sweet girl is simply trying to find her place in the world, and she deserves so much better than losing her home over it.
Luna is cat friendly, good with children, and already knows sit and lay down - which is exceptional for a puppy just six months old. She is a good girl in every sense of the word, willing and eager and gentle with everyone around her. At 28 lbs and still growing she is estimated to reach 50 to 65 lbs as an adult - a beautiful, athletic girl with her whole wonderful life ahead of her.
At just six months old Luna is at the very beginning of her story - full of potential, full of sweetness, and ready to bond deeply with the family lucky enough to bring her home. She has already shown who she is in the short time she has been here, and everything she has shown is wonderful.
Luna is a sweet, gentle, good girl who lost her home over something that has not even shown itself here at the shelter. She deserves a home that will give her the chance she never got - a landlord who welcomes her, a family who adores her, and a life as bright and beautiful as she is. Come meet her in Kennel #312 - this good girl has been waiting for exactly the right person.
