Macaroon

Meet Macaroon, a 4-year-old, 55-pound Lab/Terrier mix with a beautiful brindle coat and amber/brown eyes. Saved from a high-kill Houston shelter just in time, Macaroon is a resilient girl who is ready for a fresh start on life. Because her puppy days are behind her, she comes completely house, leash, and crate trained. Macaroon is a true socialite who loves people and greets everyone she meets with a smile and a wagging tail. She is incredibly affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is treat-motivated - she will happily "sit" on command for a reward! In her foster home, she acts as a wonderful companion to other rescue pups, even helping shy dogs build up their confidence. After a fun session playing outside, Macaroon loves nothing more than hopping onto the couch for a long, peaceful snooze. Macaroon is so excited to finally meet her forever family!
