Maize is a 10-month-old Australian Shepherd x Corgi (Auggie) looking for her perfect forever home. This smart, athletic girl is happiest when she's on the go. Whether it's hiking, walking, camping, or exploring, Maize is always ready for her next adventure. She's fantastic in the car (she'll practically pack her own bag!) and has good off-leash manners, making her an ideal companion for an active lifestyle. Maize is a sensitive soul who takes her time getting to know new people. She was under-socialized as a puppy, so strangers can be a little overwhelming for her. She'll need a patient adopter who understands that trust is earned and is committed to continuing her confidence-building. Once you're part of her circle, she's an affectionate, fun, and devoted companion. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and even horses.
