Maje

Maje is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Maje, as in Major, is an adorable little man we recently rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control. Thankfully, because our team was already at CACC picking up cats to take back to our shelter, Maje did not have to be impounded and we were able to take him directly from the lobby to our van! Sadly, Maje's owner was no longer able to care for him, but we are grateful that he was in the right place at the right time. Maje is living it up in our ED's office, where he has the best view in the building and lots of staff and volunteers to dote on him. While initially shy and understandably still a bit in shock from all of the changes, Maje bonds quickly. Baby talk is his kryptonite! When he sees his favorite people he gets so excited that he dances, prances, and spins! He leaps into our arms! We believe that Maje is housetrained or at least pee-pad trained, as he never has an accident and if he does have to go potty overnight, he will always go on a pad. He walks so well on leash and is not reactive to anything (so far!). Maje is our precious little guy and we love him so much! We know you will too. Please inquire about him today! Maje's adoption fee is $375. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
