My Story

Midnight - ID# 19514 - Kennel #316 - Arrived May 31st - Labrador Retriever Mix - Black and White - Male - 8 Months Old - 43 lbs - Estimated Adult Weight 60-75 lbs - Will Be Neutered Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative Midnight is an eight-month-old black and white Labrador Retriever mix with a broad, handsome face, warm brown eyes, and a smile that is pure joy from ear to ear. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on May 31st when his owner's landlord would not allow him to stay, and through no fault of his own this precious, playful boy is now waiting for a home that will truly be his. At 43 lbs and still growing, he is estimated to reach 60 to 75 lbs as an adult - a big, beautiful boy in the making with everything going for him. Midnight is dog friendly, good with children, obedient, eager to please, and already knows sit - which is exceptional for a dog not yet a year old. He is the kind of puppy who makes training a joy rather than a challenge, the kind who looks up at you with those warm eyes and tries his absolute hardest to get it right. Playful and sweet in equal measure, he is everything a family could hope for in a young dog. At just eight months old Midnight is right at the beginning of his story. He has the energy and enthusiasm of a puppy combined with the early foundation of a dog who genuinely wants to learn and connect. Whoever brings him home will have the privilege of watching him grow into the magnificent dog he is already becoming. Midnight deserves a home where he is welcome, wanted, and never has to worry about being turned away again. He is waiting in Kennel #316 with that enormous smile and his whole future ahead of him, ready to be somebody's best friend. Come meet him - he will win your heart before you even make it to the gate. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
