FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Missy! Missy is an 8-month-old, 26 lb Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. This sweet girl is looking for a patient family that will help her continue building confidence and give her a life full of adventure! Missy can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, but once she feels safe, she forms deep bonds with her people. She has a playful side that shines once she's comfortable and absolutely loves spending time with other dogs. Because she's still gaining confidence, Missy is looking for a quieter home a little outside the hustle and bustle of the city where she can settle in at her own pace. We are looking for a standalone home with a securely fenced yard for her. Missy would love to have another playful, confident, well-adjusted dog in the home to help show her the ropes, continue building her confidence, and be her full-time playmate. She thrives with canine companionship and will benefit greatly from having a positive role model. Missy is smart, eager to learn, and will do best with adopters who are committed to continuing her training, keeping her mentally engaged, and providing plenty of daily exercise and adventures. With the right guidance and structure, shes going to make an incredible companion. Missy is UTD of vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $550.
