My Story

Missy is a four-year-old Coton de Tulear who weighs just 8 pounds and is as soft in personality as she is in appearance. This sweet little girl is friendly, social, and enjoys being close to her people whenever she gets the chance. Missy loves attention and is happiest when she's being held, cuddled, or simply included in whatever her humans are doing. She has a warm, affectionate nature and actively seeks out love and connection, often leaning in or coming closer to ask for more pets. She is also very food motivated, which helps her engage and makes bonding time even more rewarding. Missy is a gentle, loving companion who will thrive in a home where she can be doted on and made to feel like part of the family. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
