Mugsy

Mugsy is a 2-month-old Westie/Poodle mix who was released from a puppy mill for being "ugly." While we can't imagine how anyone could look at this little guy and not see something special, beauty is clearly in the eye of the beholder! Mugsy didn't ask to be born with his delightfully unique looks, and as far as we're concerned, they just make him that much more lovable. Whether he's a scruffy masterpiece or an adorably awkward work of art, Mugsy has already won our hearts. Mugsy approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and absolutely no concern for his size (currently, a whopping 5 pounds). He loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs, and exploring everything around him. In his foster home, he's successfully making friends with dogs of all sizes—from a 113-pound Saint Bernard to a feisty 15-pound Shih Tzu mix. Mugsy sleeps through the night in his crate and is making good progress with potty training. Like most puppies his age, he's currently embracing his “land shark” era and can be pretty enthusiastic about using those tiny puppy teeth on ankles and feet. Because of this, we think he would do best in a home without very small children. If you're looking for a tiny dog with a huge personality, Mugsy may be your guy! Adoption fee is $500.00 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.
