Meet Murphy! This wonderful pup is one of 16 deserving dogs who recently made the journey from Tijuana, Mexico, to Oregon in search of a brighter future. These dogs were lovingly cared for by a dedicated rescuer in Mexico who, due to unexpected health challenges, was no longer able to continue caring for them. Wanting to ensure each dog had the opportunity to find the loving home they deserved, our incredible partners at the SPCA stepped in to help coordinate their next chapter. Through this collaborative rescue effort, Street Dog Hero was honored to welcome all 16 dogs into our adoption program. Now safe in Bend, Oregon, these deserving pups are beginning a brand-new chapter. Over the coming days and weeks, they'll settle into loving temporary foster homes where we'll learn more about each dog's unique personality, preferences, and ideal forever home. The good news is, with the exception of the young litter of 5 puppies, most of these dogs have already met Street Dog Hero's standard medical requirements. They have received wellness examinations, are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and are up to date on their vaccinations, allowing them to focus on what matters most-adjusting to their new surroundings and finding the families they've been waiting for. As they continue to decompress and settle into foster care, we'll be sharing updates, photos, and foster feedback to help match each dog with the home that best fits their individual needs. This adorable young terrier mix is full of personality and loves spending time with people and other dogs.
