My Story
Meet Nimbus - A Big Puppy with an Even Bigger Sense of Adventure
Nimbus is a 2-month-old mixed-breed puppy who currently weighs 16 pounds-and if his paws and personality are any indication, he still has plenty of growing left to do. This handsome Roadside Rescue boy is expected to be a large adult dog with an active lifestyle and a love for adventure.
Nimbus approaches life with the boundless enthusiasm only a puppy can have. He races through the play yard, investigates every new sight and smell, and throws himself wholeheartedly into playtime. Whether he's chasing a toy, exploring a new corner of the yard, or discovering something fascinating in the grass, Nimbus is always ready for his next adventure.
His curious nature shines through in everything he does. You can practically see the wheels turning as he tries to figure out the world around him. He's playful, goofy, energetic, and full of potential-the kind of puppy who keeps life exciting and never lets a day feel boring.
Nimbus will need an active family ready to embrace life with a large-breed dog. Hiking, camping, running, long walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of playtime are all things he will happily sign up for. As he grows, he'll need exercise, training, and enrichment to help him become the incredible companion he's meant to be.
Nimbus is part of our Roadside Rescue program, meaning he is not a former commercial breeding dog. As a Roadside Rescue, his adoption fee is reduced to $100.
If you're looking for a puppy who is equal parts fun, curiosity, and adventure, Nimbus is ready to grow up right by your side.

------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
