Meet Obsidian, a two-and-a-half-month-old Lab/German Shepherd mix weighing 15 pounds.
Obsidian is a happy, friendly puppy who came to us through our My Last Litter Program, an initiative that helps reduce pet overpopulation by spaying mother dogs while finding loving homes for their puppies. Thanks to this program, Obsidian gets the chance to start her life with a bright future and a family of her own.
This outgoing girl loves people and enjoys making new friends. She has been well-socialized and is growing up with positive experiences that help her develop into a confident, affectionate companion. Obsidian is curious about the world around her and approaches life with the playful enthusiasm that makes puppies so much fun.
Like all puppies, Obsidian is still learning the basics. Her new family should be prepared for typical puppy behaviors such as chewing, exploring with her mouth, occasional jumping, and the need for regular potty-training and crate-training routines. Puppies thrive with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement training, and early training classes can be a wonderful way to build good manners while strengthening your bond.
Obsidian will benefit from continued socialization, daily exercise appropriate for her age, plenty of enrichment activities, and lots of love. With guidance and commitment from her adopters, she has all the potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.
If you're looking for a sweet, social, and lovable puppy to join your family, Obsidian may be the perfect match!
