O'Riley (Photos June 6th 2026)

This adorable little boy (who has been given the name O'Riley) was brought to the HSOV on June 6, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Mayle Ridge Road in the Cutler Ohio area. O'Riley was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped. O'Riley is estimated to be 7-months old and is being listed as a Black Labrador Retriever mix puppy. O'Riley has a black shorthaired coat with a large patch of white on his chest/belly, a rather long body, bowed front legs, a long tail, and a cute face with dark brown eyes, a faint white stripe on his muzzle/forehead, and large 'horizontal' ears. His long body and bowed front legs suggest that O'Riley could possibly have Corgi relatives in his ancestral background. O'Riley has a sweet disposition and appears to love attention. He was a tired puppy when he arrived at our shelter and decided he'd take a cool nap in the air-conditioned Intake Room. O'Riley was quick to awaken when he sensed an opportunity for some loving and petting. O'Riley weighs 21.6 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, O'Riley will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
