My Story

Hi there! My name is Pax (which means "peace"), and I'm a 3-month-old, 15-pound Aussie mix boy with a whole lot of love to give. I'm a unique-looking guy with a beautiful brown and white coat, a few cute spots, and one very stylish merle ear! My foster parents say I am a total superstar. I am incredibly observant, smart, and a super-quick learner. In fact, I'm already kennel trained! I go right in for my naps and sleep peacefully all night long from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM without needing a potty break. Pretty impressive for a little guy, right? Speaking of potty training, I already know how to sit by the door to signal when I need to go. If you can open the door quickly, I'm golden! Plus, I have an excellent recall-just call my name and I'll come running back to you (though a tiny treat for a job well done always helps!). I am a sweet, slightly rambunctious puppy who loves to play, explore, and learn new things. Because I'm so smart, I'd love a family that will keep my mind active with fun games and training. I am going to grow up to be the most wonderful, loyal boy. Want to make me a permanent part of your life? Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott Az area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!
