She would do ok in a home with other small dogs, kids and cats. This little angel is recovering from a lost episode in her life with her foster mom Amber. She is a charming spayed girl with all her vaccines, but she is a runner so a secure yard is a must. If you can give Polly a loving forever home please fill out an application today! Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/62555766852165 Like all Dachshunds, Polly enjoys playing and warming their little bones in the sunshine, along with regular walks Polly needs a secure fenced yard to run around and explore safely. While small in stature, doxies are big on personality and don't generally do well in apartments. Therefore we adopt to families who live in single family homes (or Duplexes) with secure fenced yards. OUR CRITERIA: Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have found that the following criteria best sets up our doxies and their new families for success. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We generally do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together. We prefer non-smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember, these are rescues; many were surrendered because of these issues. All our dogs are vetted and vaccinated. If available, theyll come with a few goodies to get you started (food, toys and a harness). The adoption fee is $595, sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet/dental bills or need extensive behavioral training. Can you give Polly a happy, carefree forever home?
