My Story

Rhett is a German Shepherd puppy, approximately - fivesix months old. He was brought into Stanislaus County Animal Services with his litter mates in April, 2024. Rhett and Karma, his full brother, were the last puppies left in the litter, and both puppies left the shelter with their new foster parents who reside in Tuolumne County. Rhett had his first puppy shots through Stanislaus Animal Services and he is scheduled for his second puppy shots and neutering. Rhett is healthy with no issues. Rhett currently resides with four other young and old dogs, including his full brother, and has been exposed to small children and horses with no problems. He is trained to the invisible fence and runs free on ? of an acre without testing the boundaries. He consistently goes on walks, and he is trained to ride in the back of the truck. He understands "load up," but still needs a boost up because of his age. He unloads from the truck with no problems. He consistently goes to the dog park and loves it. He chases the ball, and he is working on bringing it back. He sits and heels. Rhett is also working on skills such as stay and wait. Rhett is potty trained and uses the doggie door. Rhett also comes when he is called. Rhett is a happy, well-adjusted puppy. He is independent minded and appears to enjoy his training.
