Available From Texas Roger, a German Shepherd, 5 years old, 80 pounds. Roger is a big, beautiful, very skinny boy. A tall guy who will gain weight and turn into an absolutely stunning, large, handsome dog the kind everyone will turn around to look at. Roger was found alone in the middle of nowhere, inside an abandoned house. Did he live there? Nearby? Or was he dumped there? Its hard to say. At some point, Roger stopped being needed by his owners and was simply thrown away. He was confused. He was scared. He did not understand what was happening. Step by step, Roger reached out to people leaning in, offering himself, licking hands, licking faces doing everything he could to show that he is a good boy. Please, I am good. Please don't leave me. But what Roger truly needs is a home a place where he will be loved, where he will be given stability, where he will receive the same loyalty and devotion that he is so ready to give in return.
