He was found as a young, motherless puppy wandering near a school in Puerto Rico, completely on his own. Despite a rough start, Rudy has grown into a loyal, affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with his person and loves being close. Rudy thrives in a calm, predictable environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. He is looking for an adult-only household without cats or other dogs, where he can truly be the star and focus on building a deep, trusting relationship with his adopter. Once Rudy feels safe, his sweet side shines. He enjoys attention, cuddles, and being near his person, and hes happiest when he knows exactly who his people are. He will do best with someone patient, consistent, and willing to continue helping him build confidence. Rudys dream is simple a forever home where hes loved, understood, and never overlooked again.
