Rue

Rue may be little, but she has got a big girl bark! This playful little firecracker had a rough start - she was dumped on the side of the road with her brothers and sisters. But she didn't let that slow her down! Despite being the so-called runt, Rue became one of the protectors of her litter. She is the first to bark when a stranger approaches, but once you're in her pack, you've got a friend for life! Rue is very agile and athletic, and would do great with a family who is up for fun as much as she is! She is quickly picking up on Dog 101 here at the Shelter - learning how to walk on a leash, play fetch, sit, come, and stay. She's still very much a puppy so Rue needs lots of time and LOTS of fun toys to keep her puppy mind (and teeth) busy!
