Meet Little Miss SassyFrass! Don't let the name fool you—while she definitely has a little sass, this adorable 2-year-old Pug has an even bigger heart full of love to give! SassyFrass came to us after spending her early life with a backyard breeder in Oklahoma, so she's been discovering what it's like to simply be a beloved dog. Every day she becomes more confident, playful, and ready to embrace the good life. This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is respectful around cats. While her experience with young children is unknown, she'd likely do best with a family that understands she may need a little time and patience as she continues to adjust to life as a cherished companion. Sassy is still working on her house training since she never had the opportunity to learn before coming into foster care, but she's making progress with consistency and encouragement. She'll happily sleep in a kennel if needed, though she's also proven to be the perfect cuddle buddy and loves curling up in the humans' bed overnight. One of the biggest surprises during her rescue journey? She was believed to be pregnant, but after several weeks in foster care and an ultrasound, it was happily confirmed that there were no puppies on the way—just one adorable little Pug ready to start her own happily-ever-after. Her foster family especially loves watching her burst into joyful zoomies, racing around with the other dogs and showing off her goofy, playful personality. Those silly moments are guaranteed to make you smile! Sassy is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. She becomes very nervous when it's time to put on a harness, so she'll need a patient family willing to help her build confidence at her own pace with gentle encouragement and lots of positive reinforcement.
