My Story

Skippy - mix breed - 1/23/26 Skippy and his siblings came from a difficult hoarding situation where they were surrounded by far too many dogs and had very limited exposure to the world outside of that environment. Out of the litter, Skippy is the shyest of the group. New people, sounds, and situations can feel scary to him at first, and his first instinct is often to sit back and observe before deciding if its safe to trust. But behind those cautious eyes is a gentle little puppy who truly wants to feel loved Once Skippy starts to settle in, you begin to see the sweet, soft puppy personality hiding underneath the fear. He enjoys attention, follows the lead of more confident dogs, and is slowly learning that people can be kind. Skippy will need a patient, understanding home willing to give him the time and encouragement he needs to build confidence at his own pace. Watching him continue to come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding. Skippys Info: 4 months old Mixed breed Shyest of the litter Gentle & sensitive personality Slowly building confidence Would benefit from patience, structure, and love Skippy may not be the puppy running into your arms right away... but once he trusts you, it means everything.
