Meet Sophie! Sophie is an almost 5-year-old, 15.16lbs, female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Sophie is a perfect lady who is sure to greet you with cavi wiggles. Sophie did arrive with a mass in the middle of her head, kinda like a small unicorn horn. Our doctor did remove that and thankfully it came back as just a benign follicular tumor. During her intake exam, it was also found that she has a heart murmur. She was diagnosed as myxomatous mitral valve degeneration with trivial to mild mitral regurgitation and no cardiac remodeling; ACVIM-B1. This is a common condition for her breed. She does not need any medication at this time but it is recommended he have a repeat echo in 1 year (or sooner if she shows clinical signs) to see if/how her condition is progressing. The adoption fee is $250. This includes the spay, dental cleaning, microchip, heartworm test, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation and all core vaccines.
