My Story

? Meet Speckles! ? Speckles is a 7-year-old mixed-breed neutered male weighing in at around 40 pounds. With his sweet nature and loving personality, he's the kind of dog who quickly becomes your friend. He has been great with house manners at his foster home with no potty accidents seen. Speckles thrives on companionship and loves being close to his people. He is happiest when included in daily activities and spending quality time with his family. Because he forms such strong bonds, he can experience some anxiety when left alone for long periods. The good news is that this is managed through regular exercise, mental enrichment, and a combination of calming supplements that help him feel secure and relaxed. He has been around kids aged 9 years and up previously and was fine with them. This handsome boy gets along well with other dogs when given proper introductions and would enjoy having a canine companion or dog friends to socialize with. However, Speckles is not a good fit for a home with cats at this time. Speckles also has some food allergies, but they are currently very well controlled with his special diet of Zignature Turkey Formula. As long as he stays on his prescribed food, he's doing great and feeling his best. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and active companion who will happily join you on walks, play fetch in a fenced yard, and shower you with unconditional love, Speckles may be the perfect match. He's ready to find a furever family that will appreciate his heart and give him the companionship he loves so much.
