Dogs with highly desirable traits-such as low-shedding coats and popular breeds-help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, imaging and surgeries for dogs with traumatic injuries, and medications for those requiring lifesaving heartworm treatments. Your generosity makes this possible! Sumatra is a gorgeous fun-sized girl with the sweetest personality and the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She's the kind of dog who is happy to join you for just about anything - whether it's a long neighborhood stroll, a quick walk around the block, or a cozy evening curled up at your feet. This lovely pup enjoys all the important things in life: treats, chew toys, playtime with her foster dog sister, and plenty of affection from her people. She especially loves being close to her human, either snuggled up beside or quietly lounging nearby like the loyal little shadow she is. Sumatra is friendly with strangers, wanting to meet and greet with everyone she sees, and has an easygoing, gentle nature that makes her a joy to have around. She walks beautifully on leash and is crate trained, making her an easy addition to a lucky home. Her playful side shines when she's romping around with her canine friends, but she's just as content settling down for pets and relaxation afterward.
