Don't let the spicy name fool you Sweet Sriracha is all sugar and smiles! This adorable little guy is just a puppy with a heart full of love and a bright future ahead of him. Found as a stray in Detroit and never reclaimed, Sweet Sriracha is ready to leave his past behind and find the family he has always deserved.
At just 5 months old, Sriracha is everything you would expect from a happy puppy. He's social, friendly, and enjoys spending time with both people and other animals. He has done well with other dogs and cats and would likely enjoy having a playful companion in his new home.
Like any young puppy, Sriracha is still learning about the world around him. He hasn't quite figured out leash walks yet, but he's eager to learn and gains confidence with encouragement and patience. He is highly food and treat motivated, which will make continued training both fun and rewarding. He's currently working on crate training and has a good understanding of house manners for his age, though adopters should expect occasional accidents as he adjusts to a new routine and environment.
Sriracha loves being around his people and would thrive with an active family that can include him in daily activities and adventures. Whether it's exploring new places, enjoying a walk through the neighborhood, or curling up after a busy day, he's happiest when he's part of the action.
Because of his small size, he would do best with older, dog-savvy children who can interact with him gently and respectfully. He can also be a bit vocal when excited, so apartment, condo, or shared-wall living is not recommended. Sweet Sriracha is not a candidate for an invisible fence or tether and will require a physically fenced yard or a commitment to safe leash management.

Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
