Meet Tanner Breed: Chihuahua Mix | Age: DOB 11/26/23 | Size: ~12 lbs Traits: Cat & small-dog friendly, affectionate, vocal, active, athletic Tanner is a sweet and sensitive little guy looking for a active, predictable home where he can feel safe, loved, and included. He enjoys daily playtime and exploring, cozy TV time, and soaking up attention from his people. Tanner does well with cats and calm older children (8+), but loud or chaotic environments can overwhelm him. He's nervous around large dogs and new people. He would do best as an only dog or with a calm, respectful canine companion who's about his size. Tanner thrives on routine and consistency, and he can be VERY vocal when excited, overstimulated, or adjusting to change. This little guy has a big personality! He loves attention and isn't afraid to make himself known to get it. Tanner is athletic, agile, and loves to climb and jump, making him a great fit for an active household that can keep both his body and brain engaged. Tanner currently uses pee pads but is working on his transition to outdoor pottying. A fenced yard or adopter committed to daily walks would be ideal.
