My Story

Foster, Adopter, or Medical Sponsor Needed for Tony Hawk! Meet Tony Hawk, a 3-year-old, 21-pound Schnauzer mix with a gentle heart and an adorable scruffy face that's impossible not to love. Tony is making the journey from Houston, Texas and is scheduled to arrive in Colorado on July 15. We'd love to have a foster or forever home lined up so he can start his new life the moment he arrives! Tony is a little shy when he first meets new people, but it doesn't take long for his sweet, affectionate personality to shine through. Once he feels safe, he's all about soaking up love and attention. Tony is heartworm positive, but he has already begun treatment and is on the road to recovery. He also has some hair loss on his hind end that appears to be from a non-contagious skin condition, so there's no need to worry about it spreading to other pets. He'll just need a little extra TLC while he continues to heal. We're looking for: A foster to welcome him as he settles into Colorado. An adopter ready to give him the forever home he deserves. Medical sponsors to help cover the cost of his heartworm treatment and veterinary care. Interested in fostering or adopting Tony? Apply here: https://denkaisanctuary.org/adopt Can't foster or adopt? You can still make a difference by sponsoring Tony's medical care. Let's make sure this sweet boy has a soft landing when he arrives in Colorado!
