My Story
If you've ever dreamed of having a professional cuddler as your best friend, Tortellini is ready to apply for the job!
Tortellini spent the first five years of her life in a puppy mill, where she was used for breeding instead of being loved. When she arrived in foster care, she needed treatment for a double ear infection, a skin infection, an infected uterus, and several other health issues. After two months of TLC, great veterinary care, and lots of love, this sweet girl is finally healthy, happy, and discovering just how wonderful life can be.
And let us tell you...she is making up for lost time!
Tortellini is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. Her favorite place in the world is snuggled up right next to her people on the couch. She's also become quite the soccer fan, tagging along to her foster siblings games where she happily accepts pets from everyone she meets before curling up on her foster mom's lap for a nap. (Cheering is exhausting, after all!)
At bedtime, Tortellini sleeps nicely in her crate as long as it's in the bedroom where she knows you're nearby. If you'll let her, shed be absolutely thrilled to share your bed instead, but fair warning...this girl snores! We like to think of her snores as a personal white noise machine.
Tortellini is still learning that leashes aren't scary, so she'll do best with a home that has a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and do her business while she builds confidence. She's making progress every day and a patient family to work with her and continue showing her that the world is a safe place is just what she needs.
Tortellini has waited a long time to experience love, kindness, and the comfort of a family. Now all she needs is a forever home where she can spend the rest of her life doing what she loves most: snuggling, napping, and reminding you every day how grateful rescue dogs truly are.
Tortellini's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: her alter, her dental, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.
