Don't cry Uncle... just call Uncle! Meet Uncle, a 1-year-old 11# Chihuahua mix who recently made the trip up from Alabama after being rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation alongside his sister. Thankfully, rescue stepped in and gave these pups the fresh start they deserved. With that being said he had to scrounge for food since it wasn't always readily available, so can still have the small dog mentality towards other dogs. But given some time he could do wonderful with another dog friend to the right home to make sure he is corrected. Uncle never really had the chance to just be a puppy. Most of his early life was spent outside, without toys, comfy beds, or much attention. Now that he's safe, he's making up for lost time! Toys are his absolute favorite. This sweet little guy is quiet, loving, and happiest when he's close to his person. Cats are still a learning experience for him, but with a little patience and correction, he continues to improve. Uncle also seems to have developed a taste for people food and may try to sneak a bite if given the opportunity, oops! But the biggest thing Uncle is likely to steal... is your heart.
