Meet Whisper! Agile and affectionate, this 1-year-old, 38-pound shepherd/lab mix is everything you could ask for in a pup! Before coming to GLDR, Whisper spent some time in a foster home and we are excited to share what we know about him! This impressive pup is already crate-trained and on his way to being house-trained as well. Whisper is a fan of all sorts of toys-especially squeakers! When it comes to treats, he sits nicely and takes them gently. He is learning multiple commands and we have no doubt he will impress everyone he meets. Of course Whisper always makes time to snuggle with his adoring volunteers. A family that can provide lots of daily exercise and continued training is a must for Whisper. He's a very athletic guy who could be excellent in agility. He would love to be part of the action and needs a nice yard to explore in his new home. Whisper always has a blast playing fetch in the yard and will bring the ball back to you time after time. Based on our evaluation, we feel Whisper would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the capacity to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby!
