My Story

Born around March 25, 2026, Wilbur is a 24-pound mixed breed puppy with an easygoing personality that's hard to resist. He's sweet, adaptable, and always happy to go with the flow. While he enjoys the occasional burst of puppy zoomies, he's mostly a calm, relaxed companion who's just as content hanging out with his people. Wilbur is also one smart cookie. He already knows "sit" and is almost fully potty trained. At bedtime, he happily settles into his crate with the door left open, and puppy pads are available if he needs them. He's eager to learn and aims to please, making him a wonderful choice for someone looking for a puppy who's already off to a great start. This friendly guy gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, so he'll fit into many different kinds of families. He loves toys, a good game of fetch, and happily chewing on a favorite bone. The only thing he's not a fan of is car rides, as they can leave him feeling a little carsick. Like the storybook Wilbur, this pup has a way of making everyone who meets him smile. All he needs now is a family to write the next chapter with him, one filled with love, adventures, and plenty of belly rubs. His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
