Introducing Wimby - your new best friend! Wimby is a 4-year-old suspected Pyr/Lab mix who is 100% good boy. He is the perfect combo of well-behaved, calm and playful. He is currently living with two younger children and does well with them. He seems to enjoy stealing their stuffed animals, getting chased through the house for a few minutes, and then laying down for a nap. That said, if he had the choice, he'd probably enjoy a more laidback home, as he instantly bonded with his foster grandparents who come to walk him every day. Wimby loves laying outside, enjoying the sunshine and watching the world go by, so he would love a fenced yard in his forever home. He seems to do well with dogs of all sizes but would also be fine as an only dog. He is a bit intimidated by cats, so he'd probably do better in a home without any feline friends. Wimby enjoys spending time in his crate, as it seems to be a safe space for him, and has been crated while his foster family isn't home. That said, he is house trained. He also walks well on a leash and enjoys his daily walks through the neighborhood. While he might sound perfect, he does have a few vices -- he is absolutely terrified of the vacuum (and doesn't like loud noises in general), which doesn't bode well as he sheds... a lot. His foster mom has been putting him outside when she vacuums. On the plus side, he is a very good boy for the groomer, so regular appointments should help with the shedding.
