My Story

Personality: playful, affectionate, smart, and surprisingly brave for such a tiny fella! Education: working on all the typical puppy things - potty and learning that it's okay to be alone sometimes! Favorite Activities: playing followed by a nap and sunbathing outside! Looking For: a loving, patient family who is ready to help me continue growing into the confident pup I'm meant to be! Another playful dog sibling would be a huge bonus for me! Bio: Ready to fly into his forever nest! Hi, I'm Wren! I'm a 3-month-old, 2-pound fluffy Chihuahua/Terrier mix with soft white fur, a sweet little soul, and just enough puppy energy to keep life fun. I may seem a little shy at first, but give me a few days to settle in and you'll see me spread my wings and come out of my shell. When my foster family first met me, I was quiet, mellow, and unsure. But once I realized I was safe? Game over. Now I spend my days wrestling with dog friends, soaking up sunshine, cuddling with my people, and learning all kinds of new things. I'm playful, affectionate, smart, and surprisingly brave for such a tiny fella! I LOVE other dogs and would really thrive in a home with a buddy. Having another dog around helps me feel confident and safe, and I'm happiest when I have someone to nap beside or zoom around with. Birds of a feather flock together, right? Even though I'm still a baby, I've already impressed everyone with how quickly I learn. I figured out the doggy door in just a few days and I'm already almost perfectly pee-pad trained! I still have an occasional accident here and there, but I'm making great pawgress. I do have some separation anxiety, so I'll need a patient family willing to help me continue building confidence. Having another dog nearby, cozy blankets, and toys help me settle down. I'm also still figuring out scary things like baths, blow dryers, and stairs, but every day I get a little braver. I haven't started leash walks yet because I'm finishing up my puppy vetting, but I've already shown that I'm calm and curious around new people and dogs at adoption events and around the neighborhood. My perfect furever home would be loving, patient, and ready to help me continue growing into the confident pup I'm meant to be. Another playful dog would be a huge bonus for me, and lots of cuddles are definitely required! So what are you waiting for? Swoop in on this fluffy cutie and let's fly away together!
