Meet Zeke! Originally a Kentucky boy, Zeke is a 2-to-4-year-old Heeler mix who is finally getting to experience how amazing life can be. In Kentucky, Zeke was bullied by other dogs and was put in a barn to fend for himself. Now in NY, he is learning how to just be a dog, and honestly? He's a natural. At just under 40 pounds, Zeke is the perfect "adventure-sized" companion. He is incredibly easy to pick up, fits comfortably in the car, and makes the absolute best travel buddy. He will thrive best in an active, adult-only environment (or a home with older, dog-savvy teens) where he can get the mental stimulation and physical exercise he loves.
