Zeke

Zeke is a guy who knows what he wants and will tell you what is on his mind. He is a gentle treat taker who loves walks with a harness and his alligator toy. His favorite thing is playing ball. Zeke is not a fan of toys that make noise. Zeke will do best in a calm, predictable home. He needs to be introduced to everyone who visits and prefers slow intros. Too many people at once is a bit scary to Zeke. When he is settling into a home, he may do best with just his new people and limited outside social interactions until he is really settled. A busy social calendar can overwhelm him. Calm and patience is the key to Zeke becoming an integral part of a new family. Dogs in general need a few days to feel safe, a few weeks to settle in and a few months to truly be at home. Zeke totally believes in this timeframe and thinks that trust is built with treats and patience.
