Meet Boots! Boots is a sensitive guy in need of a quiet home with somebody who be happy to take every opportunity presented for cat cuddles. While he may take a while to warm up to a new person and can also sometimes keep to himself and be a bit independent, when he wants cuddles - he really enjoys them! He is a playful guy that will appreciate having lots of toys to carry around. He will likely lay claim to a special spot for his afternoon naps, so please have plenty of options available for preference testing. He came into our care when he was not getting along with other male cats in the home, which was causing a lot of stress for everyone. He was recently neutered, but moving forward if he is going to possibly living with another cat, living with a mellow and non-confrontational female cat might be more likely to be successful. Cats: Boots has previously displayed stress behaviors related to living with other male cats. Consideration of other cats in an adoptive home would depend on sex, personality match and household set-up. Dogs: Boots has previously lived with a dog and may do well with dogs in an adoptive home.
