Hi, I'm Cherie! My story starts a little differently. I was a stray living outside the El Segundo sanctuary when I found out I was going to be a mom. The folks at Carson Cats took me in, and I had six kittens and raised every one of them. Now they've all grown up and found homes, and it's finally my turn. I'm a total sweetheart. Pet me and I'll lean right into your hand. I'm gentle, affectionate, and even after everything I've been through, I've stayed soft and trusting. At 2 years old, I've got that lovely calm energy: past the wild kitten stage, but with plenty of cuddly years ahead. I gave everything to my kittens, and now I'm just hoping to find a person of my own. A warm lap, a sunny spot, someone to love. That's all I'm after.
