Haze is very chatty and knows her name, often responding when called. She’s deeply connected to her people and loves being involved in daily life. If she feels she hasn’t gotten enough cuddles, she’ll definitely let you know! She has been my emotional support animal for years and is incredibly intuitive with human emotions, always offering comfort when it’s needed most. She loves her toys and will proudly carry her favorites around the house, announcing them to everyone along the way. Haze has excellent manners with food and is very patient at mealtime, though she can get a little possessive if fed raw or freeze-dried food because she loves it so much. She’s also a great water drinker, but she does require a water fountain. One quirky thing to know: Haze absolutely loves cardboard boxes—but if the opening is facing up, she may mistake it for a litter box, so closed boxes or upside-down openings are best! Haze has been on a successful weight-loss journey and is doing great with her diet. A little extra playtime and exercise will help keep her feeling her best. She can be nervous in the car and at the vet due to a past traumatic spay experience, but she settles once she’s back in a safe, familiar environment. Haze is the kind of cat who will be deeply present in your life—loving, loyal, expressive, and always by your side. She’s looking for someone who can give her the same love and presence in return. She lives in Milwaukie with her owner and her rehoming fee is $50. Haze is an indoor only cat.
