Hi, my name is Golly. I am from Louisiana. Golly is an exuberant young dog who is still learning how to trust humans and the homes they live in. Golly does very well with other dogs, and seems eager to want to play with dogs who are about her same size. Golly is very sweet and does excellent in her crate. Housetrained. She will whine when she needs to go out. Golly is very energetic at times. Walks seem to be a new thing for her, sometimes she is very confident, but other times needs some gentle encouragement to leave the house. Very quiet, except when someone comes to the house, then she will bark. Golly has a tremendous amount of love to give and with some patience and kindness on her human's part she will be an excellent companion. From the foster: Golly is still getting used to going in and out of the house. It can be scary for her, so some patience is needed. Some days it is no problem, other days she would prefer to curl up on the couch. Golly can be very puppy like. Nyla bones have been working well with her, as well as basic training to help her channel her, at times, abundant energy. When she is happy, which is a lot of the time, her tail wags back and forth and she gives lots of puppy kisses. She can be timid and shy, on walks and with new people. Once she becomes comfortable, with whoever she is with, the shyness disappears and the tail wags start.
