My Story

Personality: Very chilled out, sweet and affectionate! Education: Bathroom, crate and leash trained. Separation training and management required. Favorite Activities: Cuddling with her human, treat time, napping on the couch, and enjoying park time to get some sunshine and observe the world! Looking For: A somewhat active home with lots of fun times and snuggles. She does love the spotlight and being the center of attention! She will do best with a dog sibling to ease her separation anxiety. Special Needs/Concerns: None Bio: Your greatest companion! Hey friends! My name's Mandy, and I'm a sweet and lovable 2-year-old Lab Mix, weighing about 50 pounds. You'd never guess that I came all the way from ESLR in Mexico because I'm just the happiest girl ever! Thankfully, TAP gave me a second chance at life, and I couldn't be more grateful. Basically, I'm all about love! I have a super chill personality, and I'm as affectionate as they come. Nothing makes me happier than snuggling up with my humans, getting all the pets, and just being my goofy, loyal self. I don't have a single anxious bone in my body. Some of my other favorite activities include cuddles, treats, cozy naps on the couch, soaking up the sunshine at the park, and just watching the world go by. Oh, and I'm in great health, too - I'm already spayed and ready to be your new best friend. When it comes to training, I've got the basics down. I'm fully potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Plus, I'm super food-motivated and already know some basic commands. I have been having some trouble staying alone in the crate at home, and have gotten scared, broken out and been anxious. But I did better when I had a foster dog sibling for company. With a little extra love and training, I know I'll really shine and conquer separation anxiety. I think I'd do best in a moderately active home, and while I get along with other dogs, I do love being the center of attention and can get a little jealous if the spotlight's off of me. I haven't been around cats or kids yet, so I'm not sure how I'd feel about them. Give me a couple of walks, some sunshine, and lots of love every day, and I promise I'll be yours forever! I would need a dog friend to help with my separation anxiety or better management by not leaving me totally alone till I am trained. My adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
