Martha is a beautiful young girl with a gentle spirit and an endless supply of love. This Lb/Heeler mix girl is almost 1-year-old and weighs about 30 pounds. Martha and her sister Mary were abandoned at an interstate exit in Arkansas, where compassionate strangers made sure they were fed and safe until foster care became available. Martha is fantastic with children and other dogs. Shes affectionate, calm, and happiest when shes close to her people. She loves snuggling in your lap, giving hugs and kisses, and showing her affection with gentle little cobbing nibbles. She is very intelligent and has learned quickly. Martha uses a doggie door, is mostly house-trained, walks politely on a leash, and is learning hand signals every day. Martha and Mary are a bonded pair who rely on one another for comfort and confidence. After everything theyve endured, they deserve a family that will keep them together for the rest of their lives.
