Dogs with highly desirable traits-such as low-shedding coats and popular breeds-help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, imaging and surgeries for dogs with traumatic injuries, and medications for those requiring lifesaving heartworm treatments. Your generosity makes this possible! Meet Nicolo! This gentle boy is the definition of sweet soul energy. A little shy at first, he prefers to take his time getting to know new people and places, but once he feels safe, his soft, affectionate nature truly shines. Nicolo is still learning about the world around him, and everything is an adventure: from new sounds to new scents. He does best with patience, kindness, and a calm environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. He is doing well with potty training and crate training and working on leash walking. He loves playing with squeaky toys and is very food-motivated, which will help with training. He would do well with another confident dog in the home to show him the ropes but would be fine as a solo dog as well.
