Looks like: Chihuahua mix Male, 8 years old (estimated), 14 pounds Meet Reef! This sweet little senior Chihuahua mix is bringing calm ocean energy in a small, sturdy, and extra-cuddly package. Reef is all about slow summer vibes, sun-warmed naps in cozy blankets, gentle breezy strolls, and happily trotting along just a step behind you like your devoted little shadow. He's got a goofy, endearing charm that shines through in his tiny tail wags, soft little grumbles of contentment, and the way he politely asks for just one more pet before you get up. Reef is a social, easygoing guy who gets along great with other dogs and is pretty unfazed by cats. He's more of a "live and let live, as long as everyone is nice" kind of beach buddy. He fits right in with the pack or happily does his own thing, usually from the coziest spot in the room, keeping an eye on his favorite humans. As a distinguished little senior, Reef enjoys the finer comforts in life: extra-soft beds, sunny spots that don't require too much effort to reach, and gentle affection on demand. He also rides well in the car, making him the perfect co-pilot for mellow summer adventures, especially road trips with the windows down (and AC blasting just right for his comfort). Reef is looking for a loving home where he can soak up the good life and be your loyal, slightly goofy, ride-or-die beach companion all season long and for all the cozy seasons after. Reef joined the POMDR pack from Los Banos Animal Shelter after being picked up as a stray.
