Meet Shelby, my newest foster! Shelby came to me as a stray from MADACC and is now settling in and learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Shelby is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a sweet, gentle personality. She’s doing really well with potty training and is making steady progress every day. She’s also learning how to walk on a leash. New things can feel a little scary for her right now, so she’s still building confidence. Even though she can be shy at first, Shelby really shines once she feels comfortable. She absolutely loves being held, cuddled, and gently petted. She’s happiest when she’s close to someone who makes her feel safe.
