My Story

Reduced adoption fee of $125 to the correct home for this gorgeous lady Meet Staci? 1 year old-- 51# Female-spayed Mixed breed unknown Staci is a beautiful 1-year-old girl with deep love for her people! She's playful, affectionate, and truly thrives on human companionship--greeting even strangers with a smile and wiggle butts! She resides with 4 human kiddos (age 11-16) and absolutely adores them. She is still learning to keep her feet on the floor and what personal space means, so avoiding young kiddos who may be knocked over is best (she really doesn't mean it, she just wants to give kisses?) While she enjoys having fun, she's not overly hyper--she knows how to balance playtime with downtime. Catching on quickly to daily routines and following with minimal complaints. She is crate trained and doing well with potty training when kept on a routine and utilizing the crate when she isn't being directly supervised. She has learned some basic commands like sit, lay down, and has been taught to wait until she's told to approach her food bowl with a "wait" command. She is very treat motivated. An owner that will continue to work on her manners and training, with mental stimulation and strict boundaries would be very beneficial. Because Staci has an athletic build and can be quite powerful--a confident, strong, experienced handler is recommended to help her thrive and redirect. She has a determined prey drive, so a home without cats or small critters is a must. A tall, securely fenced yard would be ideal for her to safely stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors? While Staci does happily live, love and enjoy spending time with the 70# resident female lab in her foster home, she may be selective when choosing her forever canine roommate. A sibling that will balance her strong but playful personality yet respect her boundaries. She hasn't shown much appreciation for the baby puppies in her foster home, so a family with no small sized dogs/puppies might be best! Staci is loyal, loving, and full of potential for the right home--one that understands her strength, appreciates her personality, and is ready to build a strong bond with an amazing dog.
